We switched over to this dentist after our pediatric dentist went out of network. At first, they were okay, did the cleaning for my daughter but recommended she get a procedure done which I said not at this time. 6 months later, we are in for another cleaning and they are pushing the procedure again (which had not been recommended by any of the other THREE dentists she has seen) and telling me she has to get braces right now at 7. I explained that I'm fine with her getting braces but not at 7, to which they told me my daughter will then need to have surgery down the line if I don't complete the procedures now. They said this in front of my 7 year old which of course made her very upset and we switched her out of this practice after that. My husband also had a negative experience where his cleaning took 1.5 hours. At the end of the appointment they told him he has 3 cavities and needs to get a tooth removed and also fitted him for a retainer which they were going to charge him $1000 for and he didn't even want it. I don't understand how you can go from having a clean bill of health to 6 months later needing a tooth removed. We of course went to get a second opinion and when that dentist called them, they said they had no record of him needing a tooth out. What kind of place is this?
